The flare is the very bright white spots above bottom, right of center.

Imaging Site: My front-yard in San Diego, Ca. Today was another one of those rare mornings that we didn't have the marine layer, so took advantage of the steady skies just after sunrise before the Sun started heating the rooftops and blacktop streets up.

Date: 22 Aug 2014  15:51:59 UTC (my laptop time).

Scope and f/: Lunt LS100THa (Hydrogen-Alpha filtered) with BF1800 at f/17.5 (via a installed 2.5x Powermate). The DSII (double stack filter) is installed.

Mount: Takahashi NJP.

Guiding: None.

Camera: Point Grey Grasshopper Express (GX-FW-60SM-C) monochrome video camera with a ICX694 sensor. Camera is operating in 2736x2192 Format 7 mode.

Camera temperature: 124.5 F (51.4 C)

Camera binning: None.

Number of sub-images and exposure: 11 frames from 171 frame captured video.

Filters: Installed a IR block filter for grins, I can't tell if it made a difference or not.

Image Calibration: Automatic flat processing during capture via Astro IIDC.

Control, capture and processing with: Astro IIDC and Photoshop on a Mac.
